FOCUS™ Red-Dot Handgun – a specially curated transition program for our civilian clients. With the emerging importance of red-dot sight systems in tactical environments, understanding and mastering this technology is paramount.
Looking for the transition course that will enable you to carry a red dot confidently? This state-certified course is it!
Our 8-hour intensive course, founded on the principles of precision, agility, and efficiency, provides hands-on training to make the shift from traditional iron sights to advanced red-dot optics.
Shooters will be exposed to mounting optics, testing optics for function, and maintaining them. Live fire drills will focus on draw stroke, trigger control, and consistently finding and tracking the dot under recoil. Grip, stance, dot movement, and confirmation of the dot on target will also be taught and drilled.

Eligibility & Requirements:
MUST have Average-better than average shooting capability. This is not a beginner’s course.
IWB/OWB/AIWB Holster if the weapon being shot is a Conceal Carry weapon.
Any weapons brought to the training MUST already have the red-dot optic installed by a qualified armorer.
RDS Pistol with optic-height iron sights, belt with CORRECT holster for gun, 3 magazines minimum.
400 rds of range ammo.
Eye and Ear Protection.
Note taking material. To include a sharpie, to be carried on person.
